Graduation in Phoenix

This is for T-Bone...I know it has been a while and I am sitting at my computer on hold with the bank technical support so why not make a post.

This is from back in April when Riki and Keri graduated from Grand Canyon University. We went to Phoenix to see the campus and to see them walk. We stayed with my aunt Holly in Gilbert and it was so fun to see them and their beautiful neighborhood. Keri and her parents got a hotel.

Riki graduated with his MBA in finance and Keri got her Masters of Education with an emphasis in Technology I think. The first day was commencement with each of their colleges and that was pretty cool with some neat speakers. Then we toured the campus which was beautiful and took pics in their robes. The only way I got them to was to tell them we wouldn't do any pictures the next day.

Later that night we had a BBQ with the Graybill cousins at a really cool park in Scottsdale. These are cousins I have never met before so that was really fun....and the food was yummy! Thanks guys.

Here are a couple pics from the following day of graduation at Chase Field for the entire school. My aunt Holly picked me up some flowers at Costco and we watched a you tube video on how to make leis so I could surprise Rik and Ker with some. They turned out pretty good for being made by a palangi.
My hot graduate.
Congrats guys!

Cute Kids

Thanks so much to Nickie for taking these pictures. I am so happy with how they turned out. I think these kiddos are the cutest...but I may be a little biased. Sorry I haven't posted in a looooooong time. I am not organized enough in my life to blog. Lots has been going on...nothing big, just life. Maybe you will hear from me soon, maybe not.

stated perfectly...

"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

~ The late Dr. Adrian Rogers , 1931 to 2005, Former Pastor of Bellevue Baptist Church in Memphis, TN

I'm not a fan of the recent spending bills congress has passed that are in essence taking trillions of dollars away from us and our children. The bailouts are preventing the phenomenon of "the invisible hand" from taking place and they are allowing our economy to be inefficient. Although they are supposedly trying ot fix our economy, I believe government is totally screwing it up. I don't know what else to do with my frustration, so I am posting on my blog.

My loves

Doesn't she look sweet? I love this little munchkin. She is so yummy....I want to kiss her chubby cheeks all day long. She is now 7 weeks old. Here we are getting ready to get pictures taken...this is round two. We tried last week at JC Penny and it was a miserable failure. This time we went to Kiddie Kandids and we got some good shots. It was well worth the extra money we spent. Seriously, I don't know if I can ever go back to JC Penny again....even if they do have sheets for $3.99. It is big for me to say that too because I am the queen of cheap.

Here we are at Omai's basketball game. It was actually really fun to watch and the girls won. Good job Ohms. There is always fun to be had when cousins are around. I love this cheezer grin.

My baby turned two years old in January!! I can't even believe it. We had fun celebrating at McDonald's with gram and gramps. We also had a party with Riki's family the weekend after. So fun. She got some excellent gifts too. Thanks everyone.
She is so grown up now and is such a big help to me and her baby sis. She is always there go get a diaper or a binky, lay a blanket on me or the baby when we are tired, tell me the baby is crying, tell us or the baby, "I love you" or "It's okay", or just hold her baby sister's hand in the car. She is such a sweetie it makes me want to tear up just thinking about it. How blessed we are.

Please welcome....

the newest addition to our family. Born yesterday morning at 7:40, she weighed 8 pounds flat, and was 20.5 inches. We love her so much and are so grateful for a healthy, sweet, soft little girl. We are thrilled with our special Christmas delivery.

The first look at her new baby sister.

There's a bun in the oven, Dear Eliza, Dear Eliza...

That's right...for those of you who aren't aware, we are expecting another girl!
Coming new year's eve...

Happenings as of late.

Wheeler farm family reunion campout. Fun stuff. We're so glad to have Daddy back too. He went out of town for a couple weeks for work. I should have taken more pictures of the campout. The kids had great fun together the cookies were amazing, and Papa's stories....priceless.

Cow milking...pretty obvious, in a smelly barn with TONS o flies. Fun still.

The new couch we ordered! Thanks for all of your votes. Our new house should be done in a couple weeks!!

Lily loved the owl at the zoo. (This picture doesn't demonstrate that, but believe me she finds owls everywhere she can now and says "Hoo, hoo.")

We are so glad to have T back in town..(and Jared).
